Copyright and License

Authors publishing in the Latin American Journal of Mathematics (LAJM) agree to the following terms:

  1. Retained Rights and Licensing: Authors retain the copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication. Simultaneously, the work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC-BY 4.0). This license allows for unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited and its initial publication in this journal is acknowledged.

  2. Non-Exclusive Distribution: Authors are permitted to enter into separate, non-exclusive contractual agreements for the distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., posting it in an institutional repository or publishing it in a book), provided that its initial publication in LAJM is duly acknowledged.

  3. Self-Archiving (Green Open Access): Authors are encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories, personal websites, or academic social media). This practice contributes to earlier dissemination, productive scientific exchange, and increased citation impact. (The Effect of Open Access).
